Food Critic in the making...





Well let be begin by saying that I am not a food critic, but I will be scoring this dish as if I am one...lol

I got this recipe off of pinterest (like the majority of Americans do) and I hadn't used my crock pot in awhile, so what a great way to put it back in use :)

I had all the dry ingredients at home and all I needed was the whole fryer. Which I purchased from Walmart.

Can I just say...7 hours goes by fast when your cooking...

THE OVERALL SCORE FOR THIS DISH IS A: 5

For the following reasons:

1. It was an easy dish to prepare
2. It was dry (It looked as though it was going to be very tender and moist)
3. despite having a nice texture it lacked flavor (I was hoping for that pop of the cayenne)
4. It got a thumbs down from the hubby

It served 4 of us and it paired well with instant Idahoan Potatoes.

So unfortunately we won't be making this dish again...but I am always willing to try something new once so I am glad that we tried it :)
